The Annual Gala is the premier event of the NSA. It is attended by close to 1,000 NSA members, industry leaders, corporate supporters, politicians and community leaders. It is an excellent opportunity to meet supermarket owners, and Who’s Who in the industry.

Member of the Year

Every year the National Supermarket Association recognizes one of its members with the NSA’s Eligio Peña Member of the Year Award. This award is given to the member who best illustrates great attendance, community involvement, and participation on the NSA events committees. Congratulations to Jose Arturo Payamps, this year’s recipient of NSA’s Eligio Peña Member of the Year Award!

Company of the Year

Since its inception the NSA has partnered up with countless companies who support the organization’s initiatives and programs. Every year an award goes to the company that best represents the NSA’s goals and agendas that also gives back our communities. “Seville”

The history of Seville dates back to the second century BC. In 206 BC, Rome conquered Seville and it became the major training ground from which to conquer all of Europe under Emperors Trajan and Hadrian, who were born in these lands. In 712, it was conquered by the Muslims and in 1248 was incorporated into the Christian Kingdom of Castile. In 1519, Ferdinand Magellan departed from Seville for the first circumnavigation.
